When the organizers of Russian Festival Matryoshka, Matroyoshka LTD. (contact information), set out to create a beauty pageant, the goal was to create a unique and creative competition that takes pageants to a new level of entertainment.
Over the last 7 years, Miss Matryoshka has quickly become one of the staples of Russian Festival Matryoshka, attracting dozens of beautiful ladies to participate and thousands to cheer them on at one of the largest stages in Canada: Kingswood Music Theatre at Canada's Wonderland. Unlike other competitions, having the “looks” is just the start: the contestants will also have to show creativity, courage and whit to win.
Miss Matryoshka is a great opportunity to gain valuable modeling and stage experience and to get noticed by numerous agencies and companies. Many former contestants now have successful modeling careers. Others have since gone to compete in other competitions, such as Miss Matryoshka 2006 2nd Runner-up Inga Skaya who proudly represented Canada at Miss Universe 2007.
This year's swimwear is provided by Fragola Swimwear - proud sponsor and official swimwear provider of the Miss Matryoshka 2010 beauty pageant at Canada's Wonderland.
Competition Rounds:
Miss Matryoshka 2010 will consist of four main competition rounds:
- Evening gown/cocktail party: The girls come out and introduce themselves in beautiful evening gowns. Get to know the contestants and start cheering for your favorites!
- Fantasy: Each girl will have a chance to present a unique summer fantasy costume. The judges will be looking at originality, creativity and presentation. This is a chance for the girls to show their creative side!
- Bikini: The girls come out in stunning bikinis by Fragola Swimwear and the crowd goes crazy. This is when the show gets really hot! Don't miss it!
- Questions: The girls answer individual questions from their fellow contestants, judges and the pageant organizers, with a few surprises thrown in here and there...
